A private community where female tennis players can connect, support each other and speak up about what happens on and off the court.
Verified members only — from club courts to the pro tour.
Free for players · Currently building our first community

Every member is manually checked before joining.
We may use your public tennis profile, federation, ITF or WTA information to verify your player status.
Why it exists
Athletes have public profiles. They are also real people.
After a match, players can open their phones to comments that go far beyond criticism.
Insults. Harassment. Personal attacks. Threats.
Being a public athlete doesn't make this behaviour acceptable.
Behind every profile is a young woman with feelings, family, relationships and a life outside tennis.
The mission
The idea comes from a simple realization: people often underestimate the impact their words can have on athletes.
This project is about turning that realization into something positive — creating a community where players can support each other instead of facing online abuse alone.
Step by step
Create an account and verify that you're a female tennis player.
Received an abusive or threatening public comment? Upload a screenshot, add the original link and provide some context.
Every submission is manually reviewed before appearing on the platform.
Approved incidents can be shared with the verified community, where other players can react, discuss their experiences and support each other.
Our principles
Community
Sometimes the most important thing is knowing that someone else understands.
Connect with verified female tennis players who have experienced similar situations — from online harassment after a match to the pressure that comes with being a public athlete.
Rough week on the road. Reminding myself that one result doesn't define me.
Future vision
We're starting with a simple idea: give female tennis players a place to support each other.
As the community grows, the goal is to explore collaborations with organisations, tournaments, federations, technology platforms and other partners to help make online spaces safer for athletes.
My story
I'm a tennis player and a Computer Engineering student.
In the past, I struggled with gambling on tennis, and sometimes let emotions push me to write things online I'm not proud of. Over time I understood what I had failed to see: behind every tennis profile there is a real person.
Civis is my way of building something constructive from that — a community where players support each other instead of facing this alone.
Why join
Be part of a private community built specifically for women in tennis.
Founding players
We're building Civis with players, not just for players.
The first 30 founding players will help us understand what the community really needs, test the first version of the platform and help shape what Civis becomes.
Founding players will have early access and a direct voice in shaping the platform.
Free for players · Limited founding group
Tennis is competitive on the court. It doesn't have to be hostile online.
Let's build a community where players can support each other.
