Important: Civis is a community platform. It does not replace the police, emergency services, legal advice or official reporting channels (such as tournament, federation or platform reporting tools). If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.

1. Eligibility and account creation

Civis is for female tennis players. Minimum age: 18. Civis is currently available only to individuals aged 18 or older. Players under 18 are not currently eligible to create an account or join the private community. You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.

2. Player verification

Every account is reviewed manually. We may use your public tennis profile, federation, ITF or WTA information to verify your player status. We may decline or revoke verification.

3. Acceptable use

Use Civis respectfully and lawfully, and follow our Community Guidelines.

4. Prohibited conduct

Harassment, bullying or threats
Retaliation or encouraging others to target anyone
Doxxing or publishing private personal information
Hate speech or discrimination
Impersonation or false information
Attempts to access data or features you are not authorised to use

5. User-generated content

You remain responsible for what you post. You grant Civis a non-exclusive licence to host and display your content within the platform for as long as it is published. Do not post content you have no right to share.

6. Report submission rules

Reports must be truthful and submitted in good faith. Share only public content you received, and remove or avoid unnecessary personal information. Intentionally false reports may lead to suspension.

7. Moderation

Moderators review abuse documentation before publication and may edit visibility, reject, or remove content that breaks these terms.

8. Suspension and removal

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk.

9. Intellectual property

The Civis name, logo and design belong to Vito Cerrato. You may not reuse them without permission.

10. Limitation of liability

Civis is provided "as is" by an early-stage, non-profit initiative. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for content posted by users or for indirect damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Account termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We will delete your data according to our Privacy Policy.
